After two successful years of the grow food project at Kirn Primary School, we are now moving on to a new site in the gardens at Struan Lodge nearby. It is a bigger site and we can grow more food as well as having more people able to visit as volunteers, workers and to buy produce throughout the week.
We have all benefited and learnt from having the project at Kirn Primary School. Pupils have learned about growing vegetables and have thoroughly enjoyed themselves when gardening, while the volunteer team has learned even more about all aspects of food growing.
We look forward to continuing the success at the new site.
